The exciting game "Would You Rather" grants anyone the ability to create two scenarios then to ask the other players which one they would rather take. Creating a would you rather question is easy. Just produce two choices and then pose the choices to the other players to respond.
The best part is that it’s free and it is the most entertaining when you are gross.
To give you an example I have attached the hardest would you rather that I have ever come across.
Would you rather lose the use of your legs for one year or be fifty pounds overweight forever?
If you are playing with just one other person, it makes the most sense to take turns coming up with a question then being asked a question in return. If there are lots of people playing, then each person should take a turn posing a question to the others. Or, if there are too many players to let everyone have a chance to answer each question, then pick someone at random so that only one person answers a would you rather each round. It makes for much faster game play.
It is not surprising that this past time is so enjoyable. The stranger your choices are the more you will learn about your friends. Depending on how out there your players are, you might learn way more than you wanted to know.
So don’t procrastinate. You will be coming up with great choices in no time.
Here is a selection of would you rather questions to get you started.
Would you Rather:
• See someone trip and fall or see someone start dancing out of nowhere?
• Ruin a family Christmas or ruin a family wedding?
• Get caught lying about your age or get caught lying about your gender?
• Get broken up with in public or break up with someone in public?
• Eat a whole cow at once or never eat a cow again?
• Find out your spouse cheated with your sibling or your best friend ?
• Eat a fist sized moth or a dead sparrow with all the feathers?
• Eat nothing but junkfood or never eat junk food?
• Be able to go back in time or be able to turn in visible?
• Make 10 million dollars but have to kill 100 people or make 1 million dollars and have to kill 10?
• Live alone in a dark small hole for a year or be in jail for 20 years?
• Fart in front of your inlaws or fart in front of your boss?
• Date someone who ate ketchup on everything or date someone who can’t count to ten?
• Be able to go to alternate dimensions or have the ability to bring people back from the dead? Discover that the world is ending in 100 years or discover that you have only one week to live?
Usually players have to explain their responses to the group. Sometimes why they chose the answer is more insightful than their answer. So be sure to let your friends explain why one option seemed better than the other.
Hopefully these questions sparked your creativity. I encourage you to challenge yourself with creating your own would you rather questions.
